When a restaurant bathroom lets you draw

Lately, I have been imagining that Jesus likes playing children games… like, Hide and Seek, or Tag. You know, because he does mention having faith like a child. Anyway, I can’t help but see him coming back on the clouds shouting “ready or not, here I come“, as if he had just gotten done counting to a zabillion with his arms crossed over his eyes against the tree of life.

Updating the swag on my truck

Untitled-1

So, I have had this truck for something like 4 or 5 years now… if not longer. And the entire time I have had it there has been this massive sticker on the back window totally obstructing my view in the rearview mirror. After all this time I had never attempted to take that sticker off because I thought it would mess up the tent. And sure enough, silly me… the tenting is on the inside.

How silly do I feel, right?

Anyway, now that I realized this after such a long time… this last weekend I took off that massive sticker of a monster-dog and replaced it with something a little more befitting, I think. Oh, and I also got a license plate cover, too.

Sin’s affect on the weather… wait, what?

I feel that in today’s world the church faith as a whole has been fading. We seem to be taking less and less of the bible literally as time goes on, forcing more and more of scripture into allegory and poetry with each passing generation.

Matthew 8:26-27He said to them, “Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm.

Storms-of-Life-517x268-2012-06-01

The other week on a Wednesday night at church we were going through one of the chapters in 2 Samuel and came to a part about the sins one man and the affect they had on others. We talked about how our sin affects our loved ones, our friends, our spouses… etc. What I noticed apart from the study (which was an amazing study) was that God allowed the famine because of sin. The reason for this famine was a result of the sins of Saul in particular.

2 Samuel 21:1Now there was a famine in the days of David for three years, year after year; and David inquired of the Lord. And the Lord answered, “It is because of Saul and his bloodthirsty house, because he killed the Gibeonites.”

Famine

Later in the end of the chapter the famine ends, bringing rain after 3 years once the sins had been brought to justice through some specific means (in this case, the death of Saul’s sons as retribution)Luckily my sins have already been brought to justice through the retribution of Christ.

What I am getting at is this…

Our sins affect more than just ourselves and those around us. Sin also affects the weather. Now, it today’s world of “higher thinking and science” this sounds absurd. But, honestly think on it for just a moment.

The 40 days of rain which caused the flood was a result of sin. The massive balls of rock that fell from the sky in Godom and Gomorrah were a result of sin. Famine was a result of sin. In Revelation, the sun burning hotter to the point of pain is a result of sin. Fire and hail, snow and clouds; Stormy wind… it just goes on and on.

With all of that said, I go back to the first verse I shared in this post. Jesus clearly demonstrates his power over the weather by calming the seas while on a boat. God is really above us. Jesus really is building a place. And he really is coming back down here one day.

Now… who are we kidding, right? I clearly am ignorant.

The answer here is global warming and “climate change“. Sin has nothing to do with it.

Augmented reality then and now

So… Google is finally bringing augmented reality functionality to Chrome for those of you that seem to think something like that is useful. And, of course… you can’t help but see the irony in the fact that they chose (of all things) an astronaut for public demonstration.

Quote: “The unique power of AR is to blend digital content with the real world. So we can, for example, surf the web, find a model, place it in our room to see just how large it truly is, and physically walk around it.”

That one time Don Pettit’s coffee came out of the bag on the ISS.

Seems legit… green screen?

I don’t know about you, but just like with most things, it seems to me like the powers that be have had access to this sort of thing for while now. And it is just now reaching the general public. With that said, there is coming a day when the deception will be so strong that no one, and I mean no one… will be able to tell the difference.

2 Thessalonians 2:7-12For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wondersAnd with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

It’s coming, people.

OSIRIS-REx camera and a gorgeous photo

First off, the article is titled OSIRIS-REx tested its cameras by taking a gorgeous photo of its home planet. So, the craft took a photograph… I think. Or wait, an “image“. Which is it? The powers that be either took a photo or it is what NASA and its sister companies love to call “a composite“.

Acording to the article, OSIRIS-REx launched in September 2016, using Earth as a slingshot the following year for help redirecting its path to Bennu. During the maneuver, it turned its mid-range scientific camera MapCam towards the Earth, snapping some pics of our planet in space.

But, rather than point out the obvious fact that the above photos are in all actuality, not photos at all, I want to address something else that I have addressed in the past. But first, I find it ironic that both NASA, its sister companies, and those who post on their content are double tongued. Either these “images” are actual photos or they aren’t. It’s that simple.

The above image is a composite of photographs captured on October 2, 2017. The images were taken using three color filters, then the contrast on the moon was stretched to make it brighter and more visible.

In short, we are told “photograph” while they simultaneously imply tampering to a large degree. By adjusting the exposure on the “photo“, you can see the light directive given to the earthen object. This is unnatural as we all know that light bends toward the observer in some cases as well as spreading outward the longer the distace (in this case we are led to believe the observer is a man made object 3,180,000 miles from home with the ability to be controlled and manipulated wireless from that great of a distance with nothing but the empty vacuum of space as its medium for transiting a signal).

One, why doesn’t the light bend toward the camera? Two, if it is multiple images overlaying one another, how are the clouds on earth from that great of a distance so clearly defined? Three, what in the world are the variations of black-static-grey strips if not a tacky slack photoshop job?

stufftoblowyourmind-23-2015-08-osirisisis-feature

Now, with all of that aside I want to point out the real reason why I wanted to address this subject specifically. OSIRIS-Rex means – Origins, Spectral Interpretation, Resource Identification, and Security-Regolith Explorer. In short, I find it funny that the first word is “origins” explorer.

With that, we are going to leave it to NASA (Hebrew meaning – deceiver) with finding our origins with the help of Osiris as he flies through space to reach Bennu, the bird.

Osiris is the Egyptian Lord of the Underworld and Judge of the Dead, brother-husband to Isis, and one of the most important gods of ancient Egypt. The name `Osiris‘ is the Latinized form of the Egyptian Usir which is interpreted as ‘powerful’ or ‘mighty‘.

Bennu on the other hand was a self-created being said to have played a role in the creation of the world. It was said to be the ba of Ra and enabled the creative actions of Atum. It was said to have flown over the waters of Nun that existed before creation, landing on a rock and issuing a call that determined the nature of creation.

But hey… science is clearly unbiased when it comes to religious or spiritual connotations… right?

Genesis 1: 1-2In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Don’t be fooled. Space isn’t a series of photos. It is a series of artists using programs like photoshop to push their agenda (and in this case it happens to be that of Pagan worship).

2 Timothy 4:4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

If you want to believe in their nonsensical photoshop and the promotion of Pegan gods, you go right ahead.

Space is fake.

Random mind explosion in the shower

I had a thought while staring into the abyss motionless under the warm running water of my shower just now, sparking this random and unplanned blog post.

Here we go…

When many of us grew up, there were nine planets in the solar system. It was like a fixed point in our brains. As kids, memorizing this list was an early right of passage of nerd pride: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. In August 2006 however the International Astronomical Union (IAU) downgraded the status of Pluto to that of “dwarf planet“. This means that from now on only the rocky worlds of the inner Solar System and the gas giants of the outer system would be designated as actual planets. With that in mind, according to the Copernican Principle of Heliocentric evolutionary dogma there are only 8 planets in our solar system.

The reason Pluto is not consider a planet is simple. It has not yet cleared the neighborhood of its orbit in space. Because it does not follow this rule, Pluto is no longer considered a planet.

In short, Pluto is not a planet in our solar system. There are only 8 planets.

Now, since we exist on one of these so called planets there are only 7 observable planets for us to see in the night sky.

2000px-Planets2013.svg.png

Assuming I haven’t lost anyone yet, here is the part where I might. But whatever, I am diving into it anyway.

From my reading of the Bible I have concluded that there is a distinct correlation between the stars and the angels of heaven. For example, in Genesis 2:1 we find that God created the heaven and earth and all the “hosts” of them. And with that, there are countless scriptures where the phrase “the hosts of heaven” is referring to angels and stars as one. On top of this we have epic verses like the following one that clearly suggest that stars, can, will, and have… fallen to the earth, and that those stars are in fact angels.

Revelation 9:1 – And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit (and to the star was given a key).

I could load this blog post down with scriptures to back this view, but rather than doing that I want to keep it short by getting to the point regarding the planets of our solar system specifically, from a biblical perspective.

Pinnacle.jpg.990x0_q80_crop-smart

Based on the Copernican Principle of Heliocentric evolutionary dogma there are only 7 observable planets. What makes us know that they are planets is their orbit. Every planet in our solar system except for Venus and Uranus rotates counter-clockwise on their axis as seen from above the North Pole; that is to say, from west to east. West to east however is the official direction in which “all the planets” orbit the sun.

In short, all of the planets travel across our night sky from west to east. With that said, for an observer on the earth, all celestial objects move from east to west with these 7 objects being an exception to the rule (over time traveling in the opposing direction).

Now… for the epiphany I had in the shower.

In ancient times there was what is called the gods of the five wandering stars. They were named Phainon (planet Saturn), Phaethon (planet Jupiter), Pyroeis (planet Mars), Eosphoros (planet Venus) and Stilbon (planet Mercury). In ancient Greek they were depicted as youths diving into the earth, something that matches exactly with several biblical depictions of stars either falling or being cast to the earth.

The two remaining planets Uranus and Neptune are invisible to the naked eyes which is why they were not known as the 7 wondering stars.

What I am getting at is the simple fact that the bible is not the only place where the stars are attributed as being living beings with the capability of falling to the earth while at the same time being garnished by the Greeks with the phrase “wondering stars”.

With all of that laid out here is the biblical point I am trying to make.

Jude 1:5-13And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

So here is my question…

If the stars are in fact not beings, but just big balls of gas, dust, and rock… why does the bible suggest that these wondering stars have stepped out of their intended habitation and in turn will be punished with both everlasting chains and eternal darkness for stepping out of line?

Why would God take the time to punish an inanimate rock?
