An amateur astronomer’s new camera

So, just this last week on Februray 18th, only six days ago, an “amateur” astronomer took a “photo” of a supernova only 80 million light years away. Man, talk about a serious camera, right?

Before I get into this thing I wanted to lay out what exactly a supernova is. A supernova is a transient astronomical event that occurs during the last stellar “evolutionary stages” of a massive star’s life, whose dramatic and catastrophic destruction is marked by one final titanic explosion. This material as it spreads out allows for its mass to be reformed with other materials to form “new” stars.

The primary article that I first read regarding this new supernova being seen in action was from the Los Angeles Times. The title of the article reads as follows; An amateur astronomer testing a new camera happens to catch a supernova as it’s being born.

When I read the title, the first thing that comes to my mind is an amateur astronomer. I have a few friends that have some pretty new telescopes at home. With that, I would consider them to be enthusiasts. You know… amateurs. The types of cameras and telescopes they tend to be able to afford and use look like the following.

stron

The amateur astronomer that took the “photo” was Victor Buso. He used a 1-Meter Swope telescope, which also happened to be attached to the Carnegie Institution for Science, Las Campanas Observatory, in Chile. The “camera” that he used was the following “telescope”… you know, because “amateur“.

ammoi.pngAnd yet, when you look up other articles on this topic you will be shown completely different equipment and locations. Like, so…

super-nova.png

So, which is it? One article says that he took the images from the roof of his home. And another article says the images were taken in a science lab.

Now, I could sit here and go even further by talking out the logic that goes into what it actually means to “take a photo” against what actually happens within an observatory by gathering none observable “data“.  But, I won’t. And the reason why is simple.

I don’t need to.

If these people can’t keep their story straight, why believe anything  they say? If you want to believe in evolution you go right ahead. But, if you want to get technical about it, the only evolution that has even been observed doesn’t seem to be a reliable source.

Record breaking Space Walk – in space?

Now, I could take the time to point out all of the stuff I noticed in this video (which was released yesterday) with the aid of still shots from the video. This video is however pretty short. With that, I am going to just post the video with the following comments prior to the video itself. The video is only 7 minutes long.

So, here we go… in order of the content as it appears in the video by minute mark.

0:43 – cartoons are legit.

1:04 – why would you allow an obstruction in front of the video?

1:43 – literally in front of a green screen.

1:55 – where did the second astronaut come from? He wasn’t there 20 seconds go.

2:14 – leg kicks for show… isn’t space fun (making the green screen affect even more obvious)?

3:05 – the foreground panels are layered over onto the scene.

4:13 – again the foreground is a separate layer.

4:36/4:54 – watch the mirror on his arm. The horizon of the earth changes from a left position to a right sided one. Why would the earth be in his mirror at all? It is to his hard left, not above him.

5:08 – I find it ironic that the camera glitches out right as the earth comes into view.

5:20/5:30 – the distortion of the earth from vertical to concave, and then convex before become a straight line again is a great reason to have the camera mess up. Timing is everything.

5:43/6:23 – shadows all over the jettison along with a flexing earth as seen in my previous comment.

6:24/6:42 – zero shadows on the jettison and water bubbles in space?

6:56 – let’s end the video by reminding everyone that space is real while having the shadow on the jettison reappear for our viewing pleasure.

Enjoy!

Augmented reality then and now

So… Google is finally bringing augmented reality functionality to Chrome for those of you that seem to think something like that is useful. And, of course… you can’t help but see the irony in the fact that they chose (of all things) an astronaut for public demonstration.

Quote: “The unique power of AR is to blend digital content with the real world. So we can, for example, surf the web, find a model, place it in our room to see just how large it truly is, and physically walk around it.”

That one time Don Pettit’s coffee came out of the bag on the ISS.

Seems legit… green screen?

I don’t know about you, but just like with most things, it seems to me like the powers that be have had access to this sort of thing for while now. And it is just now reaching the general public. With that said, there is coming a day when the deception will be so strong that no one, and I mean no one… will be able to tell the difference.

2 Thessalonians 2:7-12For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wondersAnd with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

It’s coming, people.

Astronaut apologizing over “Fake News”?

In the following article, Astronaut apologizes for ‘fake news’ claim he grew 3½ inches in space, one new ISS astronaut is under the spotlight over some silly accusations. Personally, I find the timing comical when you consider what happened literally just a few days prior.

DSzxL_AX0AE8oXn

Instead of explaining away a false accusation generated by its own media outlets… why don’t we address the actual false claim that glitched out live during an interview in which the green screen behind the astronauts was revealed after the layering mask was shut off suddenly at the very end of the interview. The ironic aspect to the glitch is that only the objects appearing to be in a form of suspended free floating space were affected by the glitch. This would include the astronauts and that big grey weight lifting thing on the right of course. But, notice the pouch on the bottom left of the shot. Only the object and not the wall as a whole was affected.

Why is it that major aspects of the foreground were affected while the background was not?

Go watch it for yourself.

Hhmm… Seems legit to me, people. Seems legit.

But, rather than buying into the “Fake News” nonsense I would simply suggest that timing is everything. And those that have bought into the #fakenews hashtag need to wake up and realize that they are feeding into exactly what is pouring right out of the media’s hands with intention.

2 Timothy 4:4 – And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Hey, but what do I know. I clearly am just ignorant.

Space is fake.

Space illustration to the rescue!!!

Well, as usually… let’s leave it to the space artists to tell us what is actually going on above us.

Or better yet, these scientific “renderings” that clearly show a spec, which explains that massive rock art above.

Same fake nonsense. Just a different day.

Our sun has been unusually quiet lately

sun.png

For those of you that don’t know this, I read Astronomy magazine. I find this month’s headline rather fascinating to say the least. Obviously, the article delivers speculative mathematics and cycles as a possible explanation. I would like to take the time to however point out two things regarding this article.

#1.)Astronomers are trying to understand why,” implies that they don’t actually have a definite answer.

#2.) The ultraviolet “image” in the center was “made“, not taken. This means that it is a drawing (but, that is for another blog post entirely I suppose).

With these two observations in mind, I would like to make a suggestion. Perhaps, just maybe… the sun is quieting down because the Bible already predicted that it would do exactly that in the last days. You know, because there are quite a few verses that make reference to the fact that the sun would quit working before HIS appearing.

But hey, what do I know right? I’m just an ignorant Christian that doesn’t know a good cartoon sun when I see one.

So many sixes it’s making my head spin

Earth’s orbital plane is known as the ecliptic plane, and Earth’s tilt is known to astronomers as the obliquity of the ecliptic, being the angle between the ecliptic and the celestial equator on the celestial sphere. Earth currently has an axial tilt of about 23.4°.

tilt

An axial plane is based on the 90° pivot. With that in mind I find it rather strange to consider that the opposing tilt of the earth equates to a rather interesting number. What I mean by that is this; if we were to subtract 23.4° from 90°, we get exactly 66.6°.

Hhmmm…

What a wonderful coincidence.

But, it doesn’t stop there. According to Live Science, we are also carrying a velocity of roughly 66,600 MPH as we fly through space around the sun.

1200px-North_season

Hhmmm….

What another wonderful coincidence.

Or even better… what about the fact that the curvature of the earth for one mile squared equates to exactly 0.666 ft. If you don’t believe me you can do the math yourself using this program.

I bet, if you decided to not stop there and continued to look at the math behind how the secular world describes their godless creation, the coincidences wouldn’t stop here.

But then again, who are we kidding… right? I clearly am just ignorant.

If you want to believe you are flying through space at 66,600 miles per hour around the sun while on an opposing tilt of 66.6° with a radial drop of 0.666 ft per mile squared under your feet, you go right head.

I think I’ll put my feet on the bible instead of the wisdom of secular men, thank you very much.

1 Chr. 16:30: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable.”

Ps. 93:1: “Thou hast fixed the earth immovable and firm …”

Ps. 96:10: “He has fixed the earth firm, immovable …”

1858a9e

Now, don’t get me wrong… I do realize that there are plenty of verses that suggest the world does move. For example:

Ps. 99:1: “The Lord reigneth … let the earth be moved.”

Job 26:7: “He … hangeth the earth upon nothing.

Is. 24:19: “the earth is moved exceedingly.”

With that in mind I am neither arguing for or against the motion of the earth. All I am getting at here is the simple fact that we are so quick to settle on the side of the secular world when it comes to Biblical creation. If we are so quick to stand up against things like the theory of evolution, why then would describing the creation of earth and the celestial bodies above be any different? Rather than standing on the truth of God’s word, we have given the Biblical attributes of cosmology over to the wisdom of men, diminishing that portion of the Bible to allegory rather than truth.

Just think about it.

If Satan really is in charge right now, and his goal is to deceive men into believing that God does not exist, the quickest way to do something like that would be to distort their view on creation itself.

But… I digress.

I’m clearly just ignorant. All of those numbers above are clearly just a coincidence.
