The Progressive 21’st Century Slaves

Over the course of the last month I have been taking steps toward getting off of my cell phone. I am no longer on social media (with the acceptation of this website). No more facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and all of the other nonsense.

Right now, I have managed to drop my online activity down to basic just online banking-bill paying, an Etsy Store (which I increased the shipping charges to help reduce sales),this site, and Youtube while I take my 15 minute breaks at work. During my one hour lunch I usually use Youtube to listen to the dramatization of the KJV bible while simultaneously reading along with an actual hands on bible. Other than that, I think the only other thing I use it for it google maps when navigating around town.

Don’t get me wrong. I think the modern day cell phone with its endless apps of possibility is rather fantastic. And in many ways simplifies life drastically. However, I have come to a point (as I assume most people have felt from time to time), where I feel like our phones are doing us more harm than good. We have them glued to our faces. And in my opinion they play a major role in the luciferian agenda of the end times.

What I mean by that is this; if you can’t convince people that God doesn’t exist, you distort their view of creation… which will eventually lead to questioning God’s existence. And if that doesn’t work, the next best thing to do would be to keep them occupied. And that is exactly what modern technology has done. Like I said, cell phones have simplified quite a bit in life for us. But at the end of the day… all they are is a waste of time and one big distraction.

We don’t exist in virtual reality. We exist in the real world. I think it is high time more of us stepped away and made an actual effort to unplug. I seem to find myself doing that more and more these days… and honestly the only thing that keeps me on here right now is the Etsy store.

We are walking toward the gates of hell and we don’t even see the darkness closing in around us. The cell phone screen is too bright when you hold it that close to your face!
